Children's Choir & Music Program

First United Methodist Church of Conroe

Children's Music Program

Does your child love to sing? OR maybe they're ready to learn how to ring handbells? We invite you and your child to join us Sunday evenings for lots of fun and surprises. We are planning a spring musical along with tons of exciting activities that will keep your child singing and ringing everywhere they go. They won't want to miss a single minute as we shine for our Lord! Come shine with us!!

New Elements to our Cherub Choir Program

We are adding several exciting new elements to our Sunday evening choir schedule. First, we welcome Melissa Newhouse as the new director of our Cherub Choir. Secondly, all of our choirs will be adding a music and worship element to our rehearsal where we will have the opportunity to explore how music and children can combine in many ways to assist in leading worship as well as learning more about all the workings within worship.

We also plan to take the choirs on the road! We would like to use all the songs we will be learning over the course of the year and put together a program that we can sing throughout the community. Be on the lookout for more info as we get these dates set.
